Uzbekistan: Freestyle wrestling championship in Urgench

In the universal arena of the sport complex “Yoshlik " in Urgench city, a tournament on freestyle wrestling, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was held. Young men, born between 2000-2005, took part in it.

260 athletes from the cities and districts of Khorezm region, as well as from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, contested for the main prizes. Among the youth of tender years, the athletes of Urgench city, Khiva and Shavat districts demonstrated the best techniques of wrestling. Shokhrukh Yakubov, Mustafa Kadamov and Behrouz Turonmuradov were the winners in their weight categories.

Among the young athletes, born in 2000, from Urgench city, Yangibazar district and Nukus city showed excellent training. Nodirbek Bazarbaev, Husniddin Erkaboev and Atabey Bekchanov were on the top of the podium.

The winners of competitions were awarded with medals and diplomas.
